A sense of inadequacy in some, cause us to feel that we don’t know enough. Others think that we might do more harm than good. The issue, however, is not what we are capable of doing but what God is capable of doing. We are to be witnesses, telling others what Christ has done for us and can do for them. God’s role is to convince the unsaved that what we say is true and to transform them into Christians. Every Christian faces hindrances in his life and feelings that discourage him from witnessing. The best way to overcome any personal barrier is to get involved in telling others about Jesus. As you witness, you will find yourself becoming more confident and committed to sharing Christ. The Christian witness need not fear questions and objections for several reasons; you will have divine guidance. In Matthew 10:19-20, Jesus promised that persons faced with unexpected demands ...will be guided by the Holy Spirit.
